Dakota BioWorx is a biotech manufacturing hub accelerating research and innovation in the Midwest. We partnered with their team from the ground up to develop a full brand foundation, including brand strategy, visual identity, go-to-market positioning, and website design and development.

Dakota BioWorx was built to solve a gap, bringing scalable biomanufacturing capacity to the Midwest and giving biotech startups a place to grow. However, before they could accelerate others’ ideas they needed a strong identity of their own.

Salt & Serif came in to build the brand from the ground up. Through strategy sessions and stakeholder workshops, we defined a positioning platform that captured both the rigor of science and the spark of entrepreneurship. The result became the foundation for a visual identity system that feels as bold and modern as the innovation happening inside their labs.

From there, we extended the brand into every expression — logo design, visual system, go-to-market messaging, and a high-performing website built to attract partners, investors, and research talent.
